1. Overview
BITRIDGE LLC ("BITRIDGE," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI automation, custom software, cloud & DevOps, and cybersecurity services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit bitridge.com (the "Site"), submit a form, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise engage with us. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact and lead form submissions: name, work email, company, phone number, and project details.
- Newsletter subscription: email address.
- Account information for staff and authorized users of our dashboard: name, email, password (stored as a salted hash), and role.
- Any other information you choose to include in a message to us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and pages viewed, collected via standard server logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies described in Section 4.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact and lead forms.
- To send the newsletter and service updates you opted into, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including diagnosing technical issues.
- To understand aggregate Site traffic and campaign performance through analytics and advertising tools.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them, and similar technologies, in the following categories:
| Category | Purpose | Can be disabled? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Core site functionality, security, session handling, and remembering your cookie preference. | No — required for the Site to work. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the Site. | Yes — via our cookie banner. |
| Advertising | Google Ads remarketing, used to measure campaign performance and show relevant ads. | Yes — via our cookie banner. |
When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies or continue with necessary cookies only. Where analytics or advertising cookies are not accepted, we keep Google's Consent Mode signals set to "denied" so no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no identifying data is sent to those providers. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and our business — for example, our hosting provider, email delivery provider, and Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) where you have accepted analytics or advertising cookies.
- Legal and safety purposes, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BITRIDGE, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described here.
6. Data retention
We retain lead and contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records, and newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe. Aggregated analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention settings for our account. We retain staff account data for the duration of employment or engagement, plus a reasonable period afterward for security and audit purposes.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
- Withdraw cookie consent for analytics and advertising at any time.
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any email we send.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
